A Robust Dynamic Routing Strategy based on H_infty Control

چکیده

This paper presents a new routing strategy based on the minimization of the worst-case queuing length. An H∞ optimal control scheme is proposed which can maintain a robust performance of the routing strategy in the presence of multiple and unknown time-varying network delays. First, the routing problem is formulated as an H∞ optimal control problem for a time delayed system. Towards this end, the Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) constraint for designing a delay-dependent H∞ controller will be obtained. The physical constraints will be formulated as LMI feasibility conditions. Simulation results are given to evaluate the performance of the proposed routing strategy and the results are compared to those obtained by a Model Predictive Control (MPC) based routing algorithm to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed routing strategy.
